Aras Agalarov is a Russian oligarch based in Moscow.

Agalarov owns Crocus Group and sponsored the 2013 Miss Universe contest at his Crocus City Hall in Moscow.

Agalarov is mentioned in the Steel dossier as having witnessed Trump's participation in sexual encounters while Trump was in St. Petersburg.

Agalarov's son is Emin Agalarov, an executive at Crocus Group and a pop singer in Russia.

The infamous Trump Tower meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and Russian lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, was initiated by Rob Goldstone, who is Emin's publicist. Goldstone emailed Donald Trump Jr at the request of Emin who had been told by his father that the Crown prosecutor of Russia had incriminating documents on Hillary Clinton.

(Update 9/22: Rob Goldstone claims he embellished the email and made up the part about the Crown Prosecutor. He was actually told the a Russian prosecutor wanted to meet with the Trump campaign.)

After the meeting, Aras Agalarov transferred 1.2 million dollars to Emin's bank in America.

The Agalarov's had a home in New Jersey for many years where Emin attended high school. When news about the Agalarov's role in the Trump Tower meeeting was about to become public, Agalarov put his New Jersey mansion up for sale. Though he still owns a condo on very exclusive, very wealthy, Fischer Island in Florida, Aras Agalarov seems to have left the country.
