
There are a lot of odd things about the current occupants of the White House but one that stands out is the absence of any four footed members of the First Family.
For the first time in 152 years there are no pets in the White House. Not everyone is in a position to own a pet but the Trump's, more than any family in America, have the money, space, and staff to care for multiple animals. A dog, a cat, even a bird would continue an American First Family tradition yet the Trumps remain pet free.
I'll refrain from any comments about pussy however, I'll point out that the last petless president was Andrew Johnson in 1865.
